Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements:
- Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000+
Minimum of 16 MB of RAM
Internet Explorer 4.01 and higher
Netscape 4.07 and higher
- Macintosh OS 8.0 +
32 MB of RAM
Internet Explorer 4.5 and higher
To check the version of the browser:
- Open the browser
- Click on "Help"
- Go to "About Internet Explorer" or "About Communicator"
To check the system memory on a PC:
- Right-click on the "My Computer" icon, on your computer’s desktop
- Left-click on "Properties"
- Click on the "Performance" tab to read the memory (RAM)
To check the system memory on a Macintosh:
- Click on the "Apple Menu"
- Click on "Control Panel"
- Go to "About this Computer"
(This menu will give you both the OS version and the memory)
