Look at Table 16.1E, which shows the relationship between ideology and attitude about the death penalty. In dummy Table 16.2E, which has the added control variable of gender, rearrange the cell numbers consistent with the existing marginals to show a refining effect of sex on the original independent/dependent relationship. Do the same to show a replicating effect in dummy Table 16.3E.
