The following survey items have question wording problems. Identify the problems and rewrite the questions:
1. Many people say that the government spends too much on welfare programs. Do you agree or disagree?
2. Do you favor or oppose the radical new approach to funding schools in your community?
3. Do you support new legislation to improve automobile safety and reduce harmful emissions?
4. Do you agree or disagree that major tax cuts should not be undertaken at this time?
