A Content Analysis Project

Consider the following hypothesis.
"Female characters in television drama programs are less likely to occupy positions that are subordinate to male characters than female characters in situation comedies."
Develop a research design using content analysis to test the hypothesis. Describe how you would sample observation units of analysis and recording units. Conceptualize your key variables and create coding categories. Develop a coding form to collect the data necessary to test the hypothesis. View at least three television dramas and three situation comedies. Code the information necessary to test the hypothesis. Write a brief essay indicating whether your data support the hypothesis.
