Faculty Programs and Training is committed to a working partnership with instructors, institutions and their students. Our goal is to assist instructors in discovering and sharing practical, relevant teaching strategies that lead to improved student success, retention, and satisfaction.
We provide dynamic, interactive professional development opportunities at national, regional and on-campus sites. Facilitated by college and university educators, all Faculty Programs workshops include hands-on activities and provide participants with a chance to network with peers.
In addition to our comprehensive professional development program, we offer a full-time staff of education success professionals. With thirteen years of experience, this group can provide you with the support and service you need to address curriculum development, instructional design, and the integration of curriculum and technology. Our subject expertise includes assessment, retention, student success, and faculty development as well as discipline specialties.
Our Faculty Advisors team consists of full-time educators who use Houghton Mifflin materials. You can look to these discipline specialists for presentation and consultation on best practices developed in their own classrooms.
