1. Is there a preferred browser to access the database?
Yes. The preferred browser is for Custom Coursewear is Microsoft Internet Explorer.

2. Do I need a minimum student enrollment to order?
Yes, there is a minimum of 25 student texts.

3. Am I required to select a minimum number of chapters?
Yes, the minimum is three chapters.

4. What is the cost?
The net price is $3.50 per chapter selected.

5. Can I add my own material to the text?
Yes, if provided in PDF format.

6. What will the final student text look like?
The final student text will be professionally printed in one color black and perfect bound with a four-color cover. You have the option of customizing the cover with the course name, university or college name, professor name(s), etc. Pages are numbered sequentially. A customized Table of Contents will be generated for your order.

7. How do I request an examination copy?
You can request up to 15 desk copies on-line. The number of desk copies are determined as follows: 1st print orders with quantities of 10 - 249 may request up to 5 desk copies. 1st print orders with quantities of 250 - 499 may request up to 10 desk copies. 1st print orders with quantities of 500 or more may request up to 15 desk copies. Reprint orders may request up to 5 desk copies.

8. How do I place an order?
Before you place an order you must build your textbook on your BOOK BUILDER PAGE. The ordering process is:
  1. Select only the modules you want to create your custom text. You can add your own materials to the front or back of your modular version by submitting PDF files (this feature is option)
  2. Select the sequence in which the modules will be presented.
  3. Choose whether or not to customize your cover and title page.
  4. Submit your order and enter your desk copy shipping address. You will be asked to enter a student quantity. Estimates are acceptable (Note: a minimum of 25 copies is required).
  5. Once you submit your order, a unique ISBN for your customized modules version will be created. A confirmation page will appear confirming your order and assigning your text an ISBN. Print out the confirmation page and submit it to your bookstore for ordering, just as you would any other textbook order. Your order will not be processed until your bookstore places the textbook order with Houghton Mifflin Customer Service (800-225-1464).

9. How long will it take for my books to arrive?
Expect delivery of the student texts within 3-4 weeks from the date the order is placed with Houghton Mifflin Customer Service by your bookstore. Expect delivery of your desk copy within 1-2 weeks from the date the book is built and submitted online.

10. Who do I contact with questions or problems?
