Volume I includes beautiful selections of hymns from the Middle Ages, Gregorian chant, and fourteenth century madrigals. If you are a Volume 2 user, you can hear wonderful examples of important works from the classical greats (Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven) as well as 20th century works such as Holiday's
Strange Fruit and Joplin's
Maple Leaf Rag.
