Download Video Guide:

  1. Create a directory (folder) on your hard drive to install the downloadable file.
  2. Download Video Guide now.
  3. When the Save dialog box appears select "Save to disk." Make sure you are copying "VIDEO.EXE" into the correct directory where you would like file.

Decompress Video Guide:

  1. After the (video.exe) file has been saved to your hard drive, leave your browser and go to your file manager or Win95HD. Doubleclick on the folder you created and doubleclick on the video.exe file you downloaded.
  2. You will see your screen go blank and the file will be inflated in DOS. At the completion of the inflation, your screen will automatically switch back to File Manager. (Windows 95 users: You will see a black dialogue box and files will be inflated in DOS. At the completion of the inflation, your screen will read "Finished" at the top of the dialogue box, at which time you should close out the box.)
  3. For Windows 3.1 users, click on another folder outside the one you created , then click back. You should now see the file (video.doc), which you can open in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect. (This step is not necessary for Windows 95 users since the .doc file automatically appears after uncompression.)
  4. If you are unable to download the file, please refer back to the Hill/Jones Instructor site for an onscreen version.
