- Traci's Lists of Ten. Traci Gardner, an expert on teaching online, offers classroom exercises and lesson ideas that can be used online and off.
- Tips for Using Email with Students by Nick Carbone
- Making Connections with a Listserv by Kari Boyd McBride and Ruth Dickstein
- CyberBriefs from NCTE offer tips on teaching with technology from the National Council of Teachers of English. The briefs are sorted by academic level. Access to briefs is limited to NCTE members, but if you do teach English or writing, NCTE membership is worthwhile for this and other excellent resources.

- Academic.Writing, an interdisciplinary journal that focuses on writing across the disciplines, offers free subscriptions, a teacher's exchange section, and innovative suggestions for use of WWW technologies.
- Language and Learning across the Disciplines offers an archive of the print-based journal on teaching. Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Kairos, An Online Journal for
Writing Teachers features rich hypertext essays, with frequent contributions from teachers on what they do in their classrooms.
- Guides for Teachers from the Writing Center at Colorado State University features advice on teaching the Web and teaching in a computer classroom.
- Journal of Technology Education offers scholarly articles on teaching with technology.
- Computers and Composition: An International Journal for Teachers of Writing is the leading journal for teaching writing with computers. This site offers a rich archive of past articles, as well selections from the current issue.
- CyberTimes Education, from the New York Times on the Web, looks at how new technologies affect teaching at all levels.
- Journal of Technology Education offers scholarly articles on teaching with technology.
- The SciTech Daily offers a list of science and technology sites, as well as
annotated links to opinions, book reviews, and articles and features from
those sources. A good site for all teachers to know about.

Discussions
- The ACW-L Email List frequently discusses teaching with techology, how to use or find appropriate technology, and technology and scholarship. The list is sponsored by the Alliance for Computers and Writing.
- WCenter Online Discussion focuses on Writing Center issues, but frequently these involve technology and pedagogy issues such as responding to writing via email, doing conferences online, and creating web pages for use in teaching.
- Techwr-L (Technical Writing List) includes among its members both teachers and practicing technical writers. Discussions include teaching with technology. Also, this is a good list to be on if you want to get a sense of the technical writing field, either for helping you to teach or for advanced students who are considering a technical writing career.
- Teachers.net Mailrings lets you choose from a number of email discussions, including high school, higher education, web page building, and other useful topics. The page offers an easy subscribing interface so you can try many lists at once. Bookmark the page, however, so you can get back to it for unsubscribing instructions when you need them.
- NCTE Conversation Lists are email discussion lists hosted by the National Conference of Teachers of English. Discussions on many of these lists frequently include teaching with technology.
