HM Assess is a diagnostic assessment feature in Eduspace that tests core concepts and provides students with individual study paths for self-remediation. Study paths are carefully designed to offer self-study options that appeal to a variety of learning styles through review of:

Practice exercises
Instructors can use HM Assess to quickly gauge if a student is in jeopardy and, if so, which concepts he or she should spend extra time reviewing.
An HM Assessment exercise
