Giftedness

Individuals identified as being gifted or talented are those with high levels of intelligence, high academic achievement, extreme creativity, or possessing unique talents. Although individuals identified as being gifted and talented are neither protected nor funded by IDEA, many of the basic principles of special education apply to them.
