Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) 
An organization for post-secondary programs for students with learning disabilities.

Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA)
The Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA) is an organization for parents of children with disabilities as well as professionals in the field. The site offers information about learning disabilities, the LDA Annual Conference, and publications. The national LDA site links to state chapters of LDA.

Coordinated Campaign for Learning Disabilities (CCLD)
Six nonprofit leaders in the field of learning disabilities form the core of the Coordinated Campaign for Learning Disabilities (CCLD). These organizations work together to make people aware of learning disabilities, share information with parents and promote the need for early detection and intervention.

 Schwab Foundation for Learning 
 Schwab Foundation for Learning is a non-profit operating foundation, founded by discount brokerage pioneer Charles R. Schwab and his wife, Helen O'Neill Schwab.  The Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about learning differences and providing parents and teachers with the information, resources, and support they need to improve the lives of children with learning differences.

National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)
The National Center for Learning Disabilities is an organization that promotes public awareness and understanding of learning disabilities. It advocates for improved legislation and works for better services for individuals with learning disabilities.

International Dyslexia Association (IDA)
 IDA is an international organization that focuses on issues related to dyslexia and reading disabilities. It offers training language programs, publications about dyslexia, and holds an annual conference. There are chapters in many states.

NICHY-The National Information Center for Children & Youth with Disabilities  
This is an information clearinghouse that provides free information on disabilities and disability-related issues.

LD OnLine
A website designed to provide current information about learning disabilities. It has a format that changes each month. It features articles and special topics, bulletin boards, chat rooms, and "ask the expert" interaction questions.

Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)
An organization for professionals in all areas of special education. CEC has 17 specialized divisions. CEC holds conferences, publishes newsletters and journals, and advocates for children with disabilities.

ERIC Clearinghouse on Disabilities and Gifted Education (ERIC/CEC)
This is a national information system on education with a large database of education materials. It publishes and disseminates information, serves as a resource center for the general public, and promotes the dissemination of research.

Children & Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders (CHADD)  
This national organization of parents and professionals is dedicated to children and adults with attention deficit disorder.

Learning Disabilities Resources
This web site contains a variety of useful information for the learning disabilities community.

Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFBD)
This web site has recordings that can be obtained by students with learning disabilities.

IDEA Practices
This web site contains the latest information about the special education law and special education practices.
