Houghton Mifflin Promoting First-Year Student Athlete Success Excellence in Instruction Award


Win $1,000 Educational Grant

CRITERIA
  1. Must be a current Member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics.

  2. Must have taught at least one full semester of a First-Year student success course/seminar at the collegiate level.

  3. Must submit application with recommendation(s) from a professional peer. A professional peer is defined as any person affiliated with a collegiate institution that has intimate knowledge of your teaching practices.

  4. Must submit application with recommendation(s) from a student athlete who has received instruction as a member of your First-Year student success course/seminar.

  5. Attach course syllabus, instructional philosophy and best practice case study.

DEADLINE
Deadline extended to February 15th, 2006.

PRIZE
The winner will receive a $1,000 educational grant and will be honored at the N4A National Convention.
