Chapter 3: Goal Setting
Complete a journal entry by sending your answers to your professor by e-mail or by submitting a hard copy in class.
- Why is important to set goals?
- Discuss a time in your life when you set a goal and reached it.
- Why have you made the decision to come to college?
- Name one goal you hope to accomplish in the next year. Then list 10 goals you can do in the next month that will help you eventually reach you goal.
- What role does your locus of control play in setting goals?
- If you were guaranteed to achieve one goal in during your life, what would it be? (Remember to state you goal to include all elements of a useful goal.) Now discuss why you chose that goal. Then discuss thing you can specifically do to begin your road to accomplishing that goal.
