Complete a journal entry by sending your answers to your professor by e-mail or by submitting a hard copy in class.
  1. Why is important to set goals?

  2. Discuss a time in your life when you set a goal and reached it.

  3. Why have you made the decision to come to college?

  4. Name one goal you hope to accomplish in the next year. Then list 10 goals you can do in the next month that will help you eventually reach you goal.

  5. What role does your locus of control play in setting goals?

  6. If you were guaranteed to achieve one goal in during your life, what would it be? (Remember to state you goal to include all elements of a useful goal.) Now discuss why you chose that goal. Then discuss thing you can specifically do to begin your road to accomplishing that goal.
