Motorola— a leader in communications and electronics systems and manufacturing. In the 1990’s, the company underwent shifts in its organization, leadership, and strategy, as it attempted to keep pace with rapid changes and stiff competition in the industry.
View the firm’s web site. Examine the company and all of its activities and operations, but focus in particular on the organization and the activities associated with its operation. Then answer the following questions:
- What can you determine about the extent of Motorola’s operations?
- What areas of management can you identify from its web site?
- How does this information relate to that presented in the text?
